I'm extremely grateful that you have taken the effort to release
versions for both Mac and Linux. This allows me as someone who
doesn't have enough Windows knowledge and skills to add Komodo
to my test pool (and also announce when it has gotten to weak to be
removed again in 5 years from now or so :-)

Thanks a lot for these kind releases.
I want to support as many platforms as I reasonably can. The Linux version is not an afterthought by the way, I am a Linux developer and it's the Windows version that always gives me trouble. The Mac OS is based on Unix so it's not so hard.

You should use the sse4 version if it works, because it will be faster. It will probably work if you bought your PC fairly recently, otherwise you will have to use the other version.

I made a test version that may fix the problem - and have sent it out to various testers.

If you are willing to run a few hundred games I will send you test version. It is the same program but the compilation will not be as good as it's just for debugging and testing.

Send me an email if you want to help stress test it.

i just want to run the middlegame position i was looking at,(it is a current game on WBCCC)i have no probs with any other engines and have no intention of running 100's of games.i have already spent many hours running Komodo as you know and it was i that found flaw.

i intend no disrespect and will be one of first in queue to buy MP version.

regards Paul.

Didn't I say, "send me an email if you want to help?" So the proper response was to NOT send me an email and to not sweat over it.

Great release!

Can Komodo play Chess960 (Fischer Random) correctly?

Have you thought about supporting it in the future?
