fern wrote:Has not been enough the thousands of posts concerning Rybka, concerning his author, concerning Hipolytt, concerning Ivanhoe, concerning defenders or acusers, concerning clones, concerning insults from one side and the other? this is what I am here for and I want more because it is related to todays top 3000 elo chess software.

Aren't you tired of these long threads where one guy after another add his own atom of wise considerations and, some times, many times, derogative attacks? this is what I am here for and I want more because it is related to todays top 3000 elo chess software.

Do you still belive that all this will take us to a clear and definite result, to a conclusion? why are you saying something like this????? no one here is simple minded enough to think that all issues will be resolved or concluded related to Vas, Rybka or code rights etc.

Have not, you guys, learned from life how inuseful these discussions are?
not true at all. a lot of info has been posted here. great discussions about todays problems with Rybka and Vas. and now Houdini kicking ass with black using 12 threads. amazing.

Are you disarmed in front of the hormonal pressures to be a part of the fight? this is not clear english to me. not a fight, we need more discussions about code, program improvements, latest software updates, latest hardware, opinions, authors, etc

In brief, are you still 12 years old?this is your ego talking because we are not discussing what you want to here. you and Steve B have no interest in what I am interested in at this forum and your posts show it.

Curiously, when steven Blincoe and me engaged, time ago, perhaps a year or two ago, in a thread full of humor, jokes and glad considerations, we were amputated because we were "off topic". I have no interest in most of your humor at all. If there were 50 more like you here taking up space on this forum with your type of posts I would not come here for that. I am not interested in what you are interested in. I come here for the latest strong 3000 elo chess software and the latest 3000 elo hardware discussions.

Now, as a moderator, I must let this ocean of of irrelevant fights because they are ON topic. Yes on my topic of interest. I would pay to come here.

Shame...nope you do not understand

So my simple proposal to these champions iof this or that cause is: get lost....I would suggest that Fernando and Steve B create another topic in this forum for Ferns games, jokes humor and Steve B 3 mhz computers with 3 k ram collectables. You Fern would enjoy this. You would not have to read about our 3000 elo hardware and our 3000 elo chess programs. This way you would only have to come here when you get a complaint as moderator and we would not bore you with 3000 elo chess pcs.

Fern, really pissed off....
you wont be pissed off if you make these changes. and another thing, I am 60 years old and you have not offended me. I do not mean to offend you, but our interests are extremely different and both of our posts show it.
Now if I could just come over for some hot wings and nice cold home brew it would be better.

Very well said indeed, but let me for once to vent my opinions just like they come from me... rest of the time I must play as moderator and being an impartial and stratospheric judge.

No problem at all regards

The Steve and Fern Show.

Okay, let me try this

A big fan regards,

Adam

No. I lack the talent.

Well, carry on you two. Seriously, I enjoy this much more than the
Fruit/Rybka/Ippolit/Robbolito/Ivanhoe/etc... ad nauseum.

I didn't realize that it was considered taxable income. Damn.

Well, at least you stand some chance of recovering some of it.
20+ years to go for me. We'll see if the money is still there then.

Depends on how smart you are. It is possible to do this with some planning. I hope to be in that category in 2 years or so myself. Of course, there are lots of pro athletes that have squandered their tens of millions of dollars earned over 5-10 years, and they retire with nothing at all. It is all in the planning and discipline...
