The part taken from Houdini is the info text as Damir has posted above, it appears to be copied nearly verbatim from the Houdini web site.

"Houdini is free for non-commercial use. It can be downloaded, installed..."
"The program has no graphical interface but can be used with any UCI-compatible chess graphical user interface ..."
"Currently the following UCI options are available:"
"Hash: Amount of hash table memory used by the program in MB. Default 128, min 4, max 1024/16384 (32/64-bit)."

LOL,
Robert
Come on Robert, must be the language barrier

The tortuous history of DeepSaros.

I am not a professional programmer, but just an amateur. I wrote Deep Saros to employ an old version of IvanHoe. Began as a simple mod, then I started to add other ideas and other code. Something has been taken by Glaurung, Igorrit from other, more by Fruit, but other additions are my ideas ... In some cases I have taken portions of code, in other cases, only ideas that I later developed as a code.
The source program was IvanHoe, but you could still call IvanHoe? Changes are now so many ... So I decided to call it "doctor Frankenstein", then I changed my mind and I decided to call Deep Saros 2.
Deep Saros has slowly developed a personal style of play and was pleased with several people who asked me to open a web page, to download, but I speak badly English ... What to do? ... Then I saw the site of Robert Houdart and I thought, "he was surely right!" and so I have "inspired" to his page (I hope he will forgive me!).
It all started for mere personal entertainment! I did not want to raise so much fuss ... I hope I have not done anything illegal!
I apologize again for my bad English.

Your English is good, and thank you for the information.

Will you release the source code for this program?

My intention is to release soon the source code. At the moment, is a real disgust(!), I'm also working on changes. I believe that by year's end, I should be able to issue a code readable. As I mentioned are an amateur, and the time to devote to DeepSaros is very little (work, family, etc. ..)!

Thanks for engine Roberto. Having fun with it at present.
It is interesting and plays very strong. Maybe a little stronger than
R4.

Best,
Gerold.

information on another forum.
P.S.2. Good luck and hope you keep improving your new engine.

Who is the author?
His name is: Roberto Munter! Since you have a name now why not consider including this very strong Engine in your rating list?
Maybe we have a new number one!!!

Is the version 2.3 private or public?

Thanks.
DeepSoros 2.3c3 by Roberto Munter of Germary is public.

It is a rewrite of Ivan with a few other engine parts according to Roberto. He calls it Frankenstein because of the many engine parts to
it :).

Best,
Gerold.
Thank you, Gerold.

I need a 64 bit version for my tests.
