It's a little unusual that Heise offers payment on receipt of invoice to non-German customers. ChessBase would never do that...
If somebody wants to order it and needs assistence beyond the above, just drop a PM or ask in this thread.

Apparently they're not accepting credit card payments. Just order and make a bank transfer after receiving the invoice.

That is too bad. I would have gladly purchased the new Deep Sjeng if it wasn't such a hassle to get it.

Hmm, I don't know. Here in Germany, credit cards are not too popular. Is it really such a hassle to do a funds transfer?
Anyway, I'm going to write them an e-mail tomorrow and inquire on what conditions they would sell a copy to abroad.
I the end, it's going to cost about €14 to get Shredder and Deep Sjeng, which is really a bargain.

Not quite.
A bank transer from country to country within the EU is not cheap, from outside the EU to a EU country it might be even more expensive (or cheaper) depending on the money your bank charges.
For an internatinal bank transfer you need an the IBAN, SWIFT/BIC numbers, enter it at the right points and the other side sometimes waits several dayss for the payment. Compared with a credit card payment it is a big fu**-up.
For sure there are more costs than just the magazin and shipping, still, it will be a bargin for that quality stuff.
Just as an explanation why credit cards are not that popular in germany: The CC-Comapnys are carging the seller a percentage. Sometimes the margin is getting VERY small then! Then every German with a bank account has a bank card (EC-Card) which is for free and basicaly accepted everywhere ... there is no need for a internatinal credit card anymore - except if you are traveling outside the EU.

Well, that solves that! I'll be sending an e-mail to cancel my order.
I have no idea how or want to be bothered with an international bank to bank transfer for such a little purchase.

Within the SEPA area bank transfers cost no more than a domestic transfer. Might be tougher to do it from the US.
That kind of trouble also exists the other way around. I'm always annoyed about only being able to order stuff from amazon.com via credit card... no credit card, no order...
