Jeremy,

Altho I will check out your new forum,

giving up isn't the way to go.

I will say now, that I'm not at all sure it is right to make a new forum. I mean, I'd say THAT isn't the way to go.
The intent is to hijack THIS forum, I believe.
It looks like a very evil design, with evil intent.

Typical. This sort of smug arrogance and dismissiveness is precisely what you will not find at OpenChess, btw. Everyone is welcome.

CCC has structural and cultural problems. Structurally, there is the commercial "overlord" who can always be used as a carrot or stick to influence moderation policy (e.g. do it this way or the sponsors will shut the site down). Moderators and other "village elders" seem to believe that they have earned the right to treat certain members or other CC community members with open contempt, insinuations of wrongdoing, and so on. I'm simply over it, and have created my own greener pasture. No one is making you leave, but you're welcome to come and check it out.

But this too, might break up this whole, long-established club, which is not very nice [and some people and forums will be split up for a long time].
It would surely be better if ccc/ctf could be improved instead. (But again, perhaps there WERE threads about this, which didn't catch my attention, and that nothing more can be done to help it).

Maybe you've inadvertently hit the nail on the head. OpenChess isn't a club, it's a discussion forum. Clubs are exclusive. We're inclusive.

Although I wish Jeremy well with his new venture, I'm confident that CCC/CTF will survive. New forums have been set up before. Some will leave, some will stay, some will belong to both.

That forum is changing to the club. The migration is in Rybka, Hiarcs forum direction.
The forum independent from the busines and clans is the solution.
Polish National tragedy in Smoleńsk. President and all delegation murdered or killed.
Cui bono ?

There are programs with undiscovered bugs.
