This blunder was played by one of the clones in a fast game. I found it interesting to note that many engines take more or less time to reject it, so developers might wish to add it to their 'avoid move' test positions:
[D]8/8/1r1p4/3Ppk1p/1PR5/5P2/6K1/8 w - - 0 48
The move to avoid is 1.Rc6?? which loses immediately to 1...Rxc6. Note that some engines don't play it at first but then actually switch to it.

Crafty 23.1 finds this difficult. It takes until ply 23 to see Rc6 is bad. It thinks for a long time that black shouldn't exchange rooks, probably because it thinks the connected passed pawns look scary.

One of the clones? Not this one! And i have no proof its a clone, if you haveAlbert Silver wrote:This blunder was played by one of the clones in a fast game. The thing about all this that makes me disagree with you. I still do not know what it is, but reflecting on the facts, I can not agree with you. I believe the family Ippolit programs are not clones, but do not have evidence or confirmation of this. Entertaining, did not possess that are clones. The wise man in such cases, nothing speaks, watch and wait. Worse than a true late is injustice in advance.
