Which one is stronger: Naum 4.1 or Stockfish 1.6.3?

Neither Naum 4.2 or Stockfish 1.7 have been publicly released.

According to CEGT 40/4 (and probably others, I didn't bother to look) Stockfish 1.6.3 is slightly stronger by Naum 4.1, by about 10-15 elo.

I think it's reasonable to say that they're of equal strength, with Naum possibly having a slight advantage in longer games, and vice versa.

I would agree, 10-15 elo with regards to engine strength doesn't mean a great deal.

Stockfish1.6x seems to be stronger than Naum4.2 based on the following link(not enough games)

At least Naum4.2 is stronger than Naum4.1 and hopefully also stronger than Deep shredder12 but after 100 games it is not clear (Naum4.1 was weaker than Deep shredder12 based on thousands of games)

Hi,

it's only a test to find out the errors Ktulu 9.0 have.
I found out a lot and Rahman try to fix it, but he isn't often at home to do that. I think, if ready Rahman will send a bugfix version to Lokasoft.
