That was very interesting! But an uncertainty I think is Laurence; what happens if the pawn goes off the board without an exchange of Rooks? It is a 7 men endgame and I'm not sure if it is a draw? I tried to implement the fact that the passed pawn here is not really an asset because it has little chance of promoting and this should have increased the chances of a Rook exchange, but I think White just does not have the power to do that. Instead the result was that the pawn falls, which resets the 50 move counter but the engine does not take that into account here. Good thing is that the pawn is not really much worth and White's King position now seems a little bit better because the white Rooks are doing more interference work, instead of focusing on defending the pawn. This may just be enough for White to last 50 moves after the conversion, at least that was my tentative conclusion of the returned analysis. The equilibrium now seems to be around +1.45 for Black although he is a full Bishop ahead. The position after the Pawn is gone in one variation was analyzed further and the result is going down very slightly, so not conclusive that White can hold that. But I can't use any tablebases here, that's a handicap.

So with the new version build 126 with other Rook knowledge -> the analysis changes:

It's even more confusing now. At 5+2 and 15+3 time controls, white lost. At 30+2 time control, white pulled out a draw--did white play the perfect game or black blundered?! Extended the time control to 60+15 and white lost. Will play out 90+30 time control and possibly 120+? next. Here is how the 60+15 played out:

At this point, it may be that the position is lost, but not conclusive unless tested with 7-piece EGTB. Here is the results with time control increased to 90m+30s increments with hash of 1024 MB using 4 cores with ponder off.

Even if I'm not sure neither, to me it seems to be very drawish, if white manages to get his rooks in a line preventing his king from being castled.
To reach a position like the one on diagram, the pawn must be given away at the right moment, to be kept it isn't anyway. This is after the 6th white move of the main variant below.

[d]8/2kb2R1/6R1/P6r/8/4r3/K7/8 b - - 0 6

Here are three examples of matches. Firebird 1.1 with 5 MOB bitbases managed to win against Deep Fritz 12 with 5 MOB tablebases once, I guess by white error, I marked with ?!.
DF 12 with white drawed against FB and so did FB against R3. All the games were on Quad with 512 Mb hash each side and 40 moves in 90 minutes.

At first glance, one immediately leans toward draw, but as you begin to analyze, it gets more interesting. I think a 7-piece table is probably the only solution. Or if anyone is interested, we could play this position out. You use whatever resources are at your disposal. It would be fun.

I guess it would, but the fun would be greater for black yet.
:)
I have to admit already after looking at it a little deeper that there are obvious mistakes in the games I posted:

At 20... Rh2? maybe gives away the at this point already certain black win?
20... Kd6! cannot be hold by white, as it seems to me, at least not with 21. Rg3?! as in my last example, the robbobases are quite buggy there or Firebird 1.1 doesn't read them correctly, otherwise he might not have exchanged rooks in the follow up of the game in my last posting.

[d] 8/Rb6/3k4/1r6/7r/6R1/3K4/8 b - - 0 21

The correct MV after this:

21... Rh2+ 22. Kc3 Bd5 23. Ra6+ Kc5 24. Ra3 Rhb2 25. Rd3 Rf2 26. Rd2
Rf8 27. Rd1 Bc4 and -#29 already.

Sorry for this patzer- like one of before: 20. R1a3 Rh2+ 21. Kc3
Kb6 22. R7a4 Bc6 23. Ra6+ Kc5 24. R6a5?? Rxa5 25.
Rxa5+ Bb5 26. Ra1 Re2 27. Rb1 Re3+ 28. Kd2 Re5 29. Re1 Rf5

Still there is some doubt about 21. R7a4!? after 21... Kd6! and especially after 20. R1a2!?

[d] 8/Rbk5/8/1r6/7r/8/R2K4/8 b - - 0 20

Here's the MV again, leading to this:

2k5/3b2R1/7R/P3r3/2r5/8/1K6/8 w - - 0 1

1. Rg8+ Kc7 2. Ra6 Rb5+ 3. Ka3 Rc3+ 4. Ka2 Re3 5. Rg7 Rh5 6. Rag6 Rxa5+ 7. Kb1
Re1+ 8. Kb2 Re2+ 9. Kc3 Rf2 10. Kb3 Rf3+ 11. Kb2 Re5 12. Rg2 Rd5 13. R7g3 Rb5+
14. Kc1 Rf1+ 15. Kd2 Bf5 16. Rg1 Rf4 17. Ra3 Rh4 18. Rga1 Be4 19. Ra7+ Bb7 20.
R1a2

My opinion right now is black should win, if you don't read any further change of mind, thanks for showing the fine position, if I yet find patzer- free remis, I'd gladly come back to your offer for playing it out.
:)

I think this postion should be a draw but it's no mean feat to avoid all the potential zugzwangs if White fouls up.

It's an easy draw like Lawerence said earlier if you reduce it to K+R to K+R+B. GM's have had difficulty in such endings but it should be a technical draw even with all material on the board.

Engines will go wrong often in these positions...one weak move may spell death.

Maybe you're right, maybe not. Can you find an error in this variant changing the outcome?

Rg8+ is not the best move as it immediately gives more power to an already empowered Bishop while leaving the white King exposed to the attacking Rooks.
