They are so good, that we have but them in the bucket since a while.Zagalo wrote: I must thank Kingliveson for his Great books first.
Use something else by someone who can play chess and does not copy/paste.
Nice first post btw......
Where does someone called Zagelo Martini come from?
Costa Vermouth?

I am the author, and I spent almost 2 months building that book from scratch--mid Dec. '08 to the time it was uploaded in Feb '09. There is another book-Version 3 released Oct. '09 that uses only high quality computer games...try that. I could correct that version and call it 1.05...

[Event "Edda Rapid"]

39. Qd7 Ra7 40. Rc7 Ra1+ 41. Bf1 Qh5 42. g4 1-0
I guess this comes from an input mistake and Black played 4...Be7 and 5...h6.
Another frequent book blunder of that kind is:

[White "Book / database problem"]
[Black "E15 9...Nbd7?? (Nfd7)"]

[D]r2qk2r/p2nbppp/bpp1pn2/3pN3/2PP4/1PB3P1/P3PPBP/RN1QK2R w KQkq - 0 10
Here it happens if someone enters Nbd7 while Nfd7 is correct, and the mistake goes unnoticed during input because the knights are immediatly swaped on d7. But after 9...Nbd7? White simply plays Nxc6 and is almost winning already.

I have made the correction...Not sure exactly what happened there with that blunder. I added many lines by hand so this is bound to happen. I would appreciate if anymore blunder is found, and it is posted. The update is now available for download.Zagalo wrote:I wish you could do that because I like large deep bookskingliveson wrote:...

My advice it to check all the opening lines till the 16 halfmoves because such severe blunders usualy surface up in this range....a lot of work I know but a must to do....

Dr. D, I would be surprised if there are more than 3 occurrences of this blunder...it may be best to discover it during game play. I am still recovering from the amount of time I spent on that book.Dr.Wael Deeb wrote:My advice it to check all the opening lines till the 16 halfmoves because such severe blunders usualy surface up in this range....a lot of work I know but a must to do....

Another approach is to let too strong engines play several hundreds of games at fast time controls and take a look at the games....a good filtering method I assume....

Franklin is enthusiastic person who has done a good work developing opening positions.
Search through forums to see the Epd's lists of Franklin's contributions from one of Dann Corbit's post. It's impressive big list IIRC.
