Was Fabien anywhere nearby at the time?

On the bright side, I like the idea of a bullet tournament.
Quite correct. 4 or 6 games each round sounds better.

Thanks,

Marc Lacrosse was, who was/is a team member (book author). Ryan Benitez is the primary author of Fruit now anyways.

ok so now team members are accepted again was not the case in some earlier posts(in another thread). Ryan is of course an acceptable team member.

When did I say I "accepted" anything?? I stated a simple fact that Fruit was at the tournament and it was operated by Marc, nothing else. And yes, Ryan is an acceptable team member IMO.

I thought you said you were going away (again). What happened to that?

What I mean is that CCT or ACCA events do not receive any (or very small) coverage among internet chess sources, unlike ICGA and Chess Tigers (Chess960) events which at least get some coverage in the media, and especially in European chess media.

In other words, I know that there is an U.S. computer chess scene, but it fails to tell the rest of the world about it.

Caution!

Getting a computer account on FICS may take longer than one might think. Much longer.

No it won't. I have set this all up already with the FICS admin team.

Personally I have no interest in 1 minute/game matches. My computer server accounts on ICC and FICS haven't played any lightning matches for years. So I doubt I'll be participating.

I'd be happy to join any standard time control match you have though.
