Is there really no one except Tord that wants his engine to play a blitz tourney?
Don't forget Pedro (and now Miguel as well). But I agree, the enthusiasm is very disappointing. Perhaps programmers mostly stay on the "Tournaments and Matches" and "Programming and Technical Discussions" sub-forums?

Good suggestion. I will repost the request in both these sections, and on WB forum!

You can count me in, but be aware that I'll be away most of the time. But I can leave the computer online and connected to your server, I assume you can automate the pairings and make the engine play even when I'm away. I need to know the step to step process on how to set up and log in to the server.

Yes, the automated pairing should work. Once a final date and time is agreed, you should tell me how far in advance you need to log on, as this is not a server I have running 24/7. So I have to make sure the server is already up and running at the time you have to login.

Detailed instructions will follow.

I can enter NoonianChess and Telepath.

A quick blitz tournament could be fun.
Hopefully, it will be in Feb. (before the CCT). Would be a nice
warm up event.

Hi,
sounds good for me, human have every day blitztourney online on ICC or FICS, why not computer playing every week or so tourney online.

that is boring for me to wait long time until CCT or waiting for a human that will play against Tornado.

but it where better a other time usage, that the tourney will be finished on 1 day or weekend like 15 3 and 9 rounds.

i have interesting on this event! register me :)

regards,
Engin (Tornado)

I'll join, just to participate in your experiment. Sat or Sun mornings would be good (pst).
