Why doesn't Rybka's author public its sources?
People should invent their own engine!

You must take Fruit in the first position Fruit = Toga and so on.

The sources of Fruit were open source.

There is no cronical order anyway. I know that all of these programs are open source except for Rybka.

I think the author of Rybka is contradicting himself. After the first claims that Strelka could be a Rybka clone, he was relaxed and said Rybka1.0 is ancient and everybody can do with he what he wants. But he doesn't publish the source. So why?

Later he was quite angry when he detected that Strelka is really a clone. So what now? Relaxed? Angry? Furious?

You're completely wrong.

Strelka is already proven to not contain any part of Rybka code, because Yuri is smart enough to change variables name. He is also smart enough to change the order of variables declaration.

He is completely right when he think he can fool us all.

PS: I am not so sure, if Rajlich is a class act, what the first replier claims. But I know a lot of friends of open source chess, who are really class acts, like Dann Corbit, Uri Blass, Tord Romstad, Bob Hyatt etc...etc....[/b]

I do not agree with Strelka=Fruit2.1

Strelka is a bitboard program and Fruit2.1 is not a bitboard program.
Most of strelka's code is not in Fruit.

Evaluation is also not the same.

Even if we replace = by the relation ~ and decide that ~ means that most of the code is the same(I do not consider changing variable names
as a real change) then I guess that you only have

1)Strelka1.0~Rybka1.0
2)Fruit2.1~Toga.
