A very simple question to Vas that can end it all

I think this is the simplest and most natural question to ask and it should be the first one because the answer can stop any speculation by making all the other ones totally irrelevant.

Vas, do you have any kind of legal agreement that would allow you to release a work derived from Fruit under a non-GPL license?

Mon cher ami:
Even if your questions are OK, the sheer fact that is you who does them expels a bad odour of envy and resentment, even if there is none of it.
Let me explain: I consider that a drop of chagrin about this matter is very humane and acceptable; nevertheless, it is preferable not do disclose it because people at once will take it under the worst light.
You should be a monster not to be affected by the succes of such a magnitude by a competitor, but instead of making questions about how he did it, better to:
a) abandon the field
b) come back in full strenght to challenge the current champ.
c) not a word about how, when, etc. As you himself has said, succes make everything adorable.
I know these words by me will not be well received by you wirh pleasure, but friends are those capable of accepting in return of his words a full bucket of shit.

Isn't that obvious?

If Rybka were derived from Fruit in a legal way due to some agreement, then the argument about it is pointless. Christophe's post makes no accusations; he is only trying to ask a simple question as it has been subject to speculation.

I really can't understand why Albert or Fernando or anyone else except V. Rajlich would break into this very thread.

Fernando, giving advices (and especially SUCH advices) to a grown up man is not a wise decision, I guess.
Just my 2 cents.

Geno

Perhaps I am slow. I could have sworn I read:

"Rybka is and was always completely original. He is aware there are rumours about Fruit for a long time but never really understood where they are coming from."

which would seem to say such speculation was baseless. Forgive my lack of understanding. In any case, if he really wanted a reply, he would either e-mail him, or post in the Rybka forums. AFAIK Vas doesn't read here at all.

You are right Albert .Vas made it very clear about his Rybka.
You are also right about him not posting or reading the posts
here. He has his own forum. There is a good reason why he
doesn't post here or paid any mind to this forum. Most here
know why.

Best to you,

Gerold.

Thank you. But I do not know if I'm going to continue in chess programming.
