Hi all,
Would appreciate if you could advise how to convert Rebel's book (.mvs and .val) into .ctg and/or .bk format.
Thank you in advance.
Yours sincerely,

I guess you'd have to do it manually.

For Chessbase:
1.Create new book, e.g. rebel10.ctg
2.Open new rebel10.ctg
3.Edit/Book/import old book rebel10.mvs (mvs format cca 1MB, ctg cca 20MB ...)
Last version Rebel (openings Rebel page and Rebel 12) books cannot be done import.
Lokasoft and Shredder GUI similarly

Hi All,
Thank you for all your help. What is .val file (in addition to .mvs file)? And is this .val file of any use in creating the .ctg opening book.
All your great help is much appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Kah Huat, Koh
