Kind regards

Re: Shredder 11 Linux
I guess your question is how does Shredder 11 Linux compare to Shredder 11 for Windows?
I have Shredder for Linux. I would say that it is very comparable (if not almost identical). I have a suspicion that gcc was used for the compilation (instead of icc). Thus the speed of Shredder 11 Linux is a little slower than Shredder 11 Windows on the same hardware. But this slowdown is only about 10-15% and unlikely to impact in a real performance drop. I cannot really test as I do not have the same version of Shredder (i.e. 11) on both Windows and Linux. In fact, I do not even have Shredder 11, but base my comparison on Shredder 10.
It is worth buying if you are planning to buy Shredder. If you are planning to buy a stronger engine like Rybka then you can get it to run via wine on linux instead.
