Hi,

There is a problem with the "Read only" attribut on the files.

I will upload the files again in the evening.

Sorry.

Hi,

The link is OK. I know that it's not available from some countries. Why ? Perhaps the word "Free" in the provider name.

A friend from Columbia can, also, not connect to this site. Another from Germany can only connect with some browsers.

Write a PM. I can send it to you via mail.

Patrick

First, let me thank you both for creating and posting these books.
They add to the enjoyment of our hobby!

Question: I see that there are several books on the download page.
Can you briefly describe some of the differences and perhaps make a recommedation for which book should be used to maximize engine's strength? Asked differently: which book would you recommend against the Perfect book, which I find to be good quality?

Hello,
I think you asked about books in ctg format for GUI ChessBase.
If both engines play with the same book then you should use the short
books HS-8moves.ctg or HS-10moves.ctg.
Against engines with own book is better to use the HS-Book.ctg or
HS-Bigbook.ctg.
Against other very strong ctg books then I would recommend the
HS-Masterbook.ctg.

Harry
