Fritz 10 just went on sale on Amazon. Would assume that means their annual upgrade will be out soon.

Anyone hear anything?

There is nothing about Fritz 11. But it should be coming soon. I will buy Fritz 10 as soon as it is available in the US. I am buying it only because it has so many good features, especially the automatic annotate with all the lively commentaries. But otherwise, the Fruit engines are all enough for me. I know I can have automatic annotating with Scid but it doesn't have text messages that goes with Fritz. I hope Scid will come up with her own one day.

I have Fritz 10 engine (as a part of Chessbase Light Package), and my opinion is that it is clearly superior to Fruit and co. in tactics.

in all ratinglists Fruit 05/11/03 is leading over Fritz 10 with about 15-20 elopoints. i would clearly prefer the free Fruit.

Fritz 11 will be out around Christmas time.

Well I hope it will increase and further improve its commentary features and even have a very sensible spoken commentary even explaining positional things which are going on, in real time.
