It might seem odd that Joel accepted a draw by repetition in a seemingly superior position while behind in the match, but I think he was running a bit short of time.
Interesting book moves by Rybka, where a lot of time is spent moving a knight into position to substitute for the missing pawn. This handicap was probably the largest, and by not losing here Rybka looks to have almost locked the match up.
