Also I thought about it, but how to check whether the fault lies in the cable. I decided that I would buy one more.

At least this makes it clear why people nowadays consider this RS232 mess obsolete, and prefer to do matches between two computers over the network connection (WiFi or internet).

Amen. I will soon get wireless connection then i will give it a try Muller!

I'm sure it's nothing wrong with the cable, it has to be one obvious mistake he do in the start procedure.

As long as the proper RS232 driver is installed on both laptops. Arena 3.5.1 already have all the needed files to make it work.

I recommend try Fritz gui and re-check now!

In case you try with Fritz GUI again i urge you to check if the device folder is properly placed in the correct diretory. In my case i placed "Device" folder in two just to be sure.

It does not work nor Fritz nor Arena. I have a request, and you can try the Internet. With the help of the program teamviewer.

Don't you have wireless adapters in your computers? I though that nowadays was completely standard.
