From the old days I remember Buce Moreland (Ferret) who wrote the important word:
Search should find it!
Your work gives us hope that we will find the best move in a certain position and not only go through the search tree up to depth 100 in say 10 seconds without finding anything. Only elo remains.

Hi Bernhard!
I hope that you are pleasantly surprised (time to solve study of Matous ).
Also I hope that version 4 of Sting can end zugzwang problems and I will start to solve the fortress problem and next some positions need some longer plan play.
I try to prove that the search (without tricks) is able return difficult solutions on 2 threads computers too.

yes, I noticed that the Matous study and some mods are easyly solved.
Here another easy position which sting gets fast.

Indeed in two seconds (i5, 4 threads) 1.Ba5!

If someone is able to help me in the projest Sting, please to test this in play too.

I would like to note that you are required to include the GPL license that comes with the version of Stockfish that Sting is based on.

Including a copy of the license with the work is vital so that everyone who gets a copy of the program can know what his rights are.

It might be tempting to include a URL that refers to the license, instead of the license itself. But you cannot be sure that the URL will still be valid, five years or ten years from now. Twenty years from now, URLs as we know them today may no longer exist.

The only way to make sure that people who have copies of the program will continue to be able to see the license, despite all the changes that will happen in the network, is to include a copy of the license in the program.

I believe this means that you should include a copy of GNU General Public License (GPL), version 3 with any download you provide.

But I know that Marco is very serious about Stockfish's license being observed, and so we all must honor his request.
