I agree. It's even more disturbing than the cheating itself.
FYI, here in the US (don't know about elsewhere) evidence obtained illegally is not allowable in court.

It's enough to be
1). Allowable in public opinion
2). Allowable in the press
3). Allowable to make investigations.
4). Can be used in court corruptly even if not officially allowed.allowed.
