Re: Deep Blue takes the back seat

From http://www.ipmanchess.yolasite.com/amd---intel-chess-bench.php we see this: NPS: 431,403,814 8x Intel Xeon Platinum 8168 8x24c/48t 384threads BMI2 Now, the previous hardware setup had about the same throughput as Deep Blue (considering that the Ipman test set has lots of open positions, the 20...

Unfortunatelly, author is dead. I test from Hiarcs 13.2 HTC, OS Win-mobile 5, options 1700-1750.
He died young, he would have been 47 this year.

Re: GM Andrew Tang vs Leela Chess Zero

Only id125 was used for the match because Andrew was not able to win a game. Leela won the match 12.5-1.5. Immediately after the match Andrew challenged Leela to ultrabullet, match score was 2-24 before Andrew finally managed to beat Leela. During Andrew's stream on twitch the viewer count often pas...

Re: GM Andrew Tang vs Leela Chess Zero

Not going well at all for Andrew. He's currently 0 to 5 and currently has a minute less than Leela in the sixth and final blitz game. After that game they will play 8 bullet games.

Re: Leela Chess Zero + Google Colab

Don't risk getting banned, or worse Google banning our group. They are probably tracking IP addresses to determine if one person is using multiple accounts. And yes it's surprisingly easy to get it running following the directions here: https://github.com/glinscott/leela-chess/wiki/Run-Leela-Chess-Z...

Re: LeelaChessZero no longer running in Google Colab?

I was training Leela on the free Google Colab account but just now it stopped working for me. It is now failing in the first cell, here's the output: !apt-get update !apt-get install -y --fix-missing clinfo cmake git libboost-all-dev libopenblas-dev nvidia-cuda-toolkit opencl-headers ocl-icd-libope...

Re: Chess World to Google Deep Mind..Prove You beat Stockfis

Reviewing the drawn games would be useful, and presumably there is no obstacle to theAlphaZero team making these available on-line. Ofc that there is an obstacle. A0 has zero variability in search or evaluation. The only variability there comes on 8 threads waiting in the queue of each TPU for eval...
