I never had that kind of success with Critter learning. I will try again. Yes, some of us are interested in an engine that learns. Have you tried Brainlearn? I am slowly starting to think that LCZ may have plateaued.

I think Deep Blue used brute force so it needed a huge NPS to search. I dont think its pruning was good.

After training Brainlearn it has gone from an average of 3 or 4 losses and 6 or 7 draws in a 10 game tournament vs Brainfish to now winning its first 10 game match 1-0-9. I am convinced its learning.

I wish they would make the championship longer than 12 games. How about 16? It use to be be 24. Agreed. I recently bought a Ryzen 3 3300 desktop. I am amazed at the boot up time speed and the fact that it runs very cool. I cant hear the fan. Never overheats.
