after the latest stf6 komodo 8 etc, i wonder how much elo more can be achieve via programming,on the same hardware of course. 100,200,300 elo more? it could be a poll but anyway just a "food of thought" my personal feeling not more than 100 elo. more? it would be a miracle dont forget pls on the sa...

future of top engines:how much more elo?

Thanks to Daylen, official binaries are now available for download in: http://stockfishchess.org/download/ We expect these to be somewhat faster than the ones abrok.eu is providing. However there should be no need to restart test runs or anything like that if you already have used abrok.eu compiles...

There arw two droidfish 1.55, one present at gplay and another development version. They extract two binaries very different in size on arm7. I will check my i686 versions to reveal the truth. Meanwhile i started sF5 vs 121014 gplay version on my note 2 today :lol: I have used and use Stockfish 121...

omg, yes 2 different sizes! from googleplay 3.289 mb, and from http://web.comhem.se/petero2home/droidfish/ 3.382 mb!
now which is better :?

i agree 1 sec/move is too short. 5 sec/move will be interesting.

Mmm... Quite interesting. My games were played on Intel using i686 binaries. 1 sec might have an effect, i'm not sure. seems droidfish 1.54(sf 5) is better than latest android compile (1.55,12/10/2014) !!
