Re: Should I upgrade to Windows 10?
Here in Australia you can only get Windows 7 and 8 on second hand computers. Initially I found it hard to familiarize myself with the different features of Windows 10 but now that I am used to them I have no serious complaints. But then again we have a service called Telstra Platinum who you can rin...

Re: TCEC stage 3 , New Houdini starts with a bang
That makes sense to me Ignacio. I've only just received my Komodo 10 chess program and am very impressed with its tactical skills and its patience. Re: Too expensive
Agreed. I've got Komodo 9.42 and paid just over $100 for it. I've enjoyed
experimenting with it enormously and don't begrudge the programmers a cent
of their money.

Re: Position to be solved first by head and then by your eng

Re: Will computer soon be playing chess strong as humans?
Thomas: You argue that computers don't play complex , brilliant chess moves that humans do because they avoid all the weak tactical moves that humans make. You infer that they build up strong tactical positions and wear the opponent down. I do agree that this is a feature of their play.Nonetheless I...
