Komodo - is it worth it.

Komodo - is it worth buying. That is the question . I decided to test the latest version of the chess engine Komodo a little - with the question whether it is worth buying this engine. Match Houdini 6.03 Pro x64 - Komodo 13.3 x64 Engine setting " Houdini 6.03 Pro x64 " Threads = 16 SyzygyPath = d:/S...

Re: Official Release of Ethereal 12.00

You don't need to program, just setup a compiler. This https://github.com/glinscott/fishtest/wiki/Building-stockfish-on-Windows step-by-step instructions with some abstraction should also work for Ethereal and several other engines published at github. Regards, Andreas Sorry, but I can't do that ei...

If you are able to compile source, you can get the latest source from here : https://github.com/AndyGrant/Ethereal

Otherwise, I could compile binaries for you and upload them somewhere for you to grab.

Whichever works for you.

Andrew
I apologize to you but I can not program.

Re: Banksia GUI released

Ah, I got it. Tech terms they are boxes (dropdown box, combo box...) or controllers. Thanks for clarifying. For creating a tournament BSG has a complicated popup dialog - a window (menu -> File -> New Tournament). I got difficulty to improve it, make it be simpler since users want to control so man...

Re: Banksia GUI released

I'll write in a moment what I meant by one window in the program. I mean, in this one window, put tiny windows like these, give them a name, for example. I thought about such windows.

Re: Banksia GUI released

Can you suggest how BSG should work in a simpler way? (how to display information and play). Thanks At the beginning thank you for your reply. Of course, yes, I will describe it in your reply to me. You do one window and everything has to be there: after clicking on menu -> Connect -> Network playe...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Yes, in fact, users can set up and monitor very things that relate to the network in one window only (network players dock). However, the logic of the rest is, to create a new game or a new tournament it is much better users can continue to use normal functions as usual instead of learning to use n...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Thank you very much for your reply phhnguyen. It's all too complicated. It must be simpler. You have to move through too many windows. In my opinion it should look like this:

I set everything in one window and play.
