According to what I've just read in TCEC, Houdini defeated Carlsen +6 =4 -0 in a 10 game match? I believe that this is Robert Houdart's estimation of the result if Carlsen and Houdini played a 10 game match. Will the version now playing (or its progeny) be released as a new version or as an update to K6?

Komodo on fire! Everybody out of the way! I propose a namechange. How about a special version, that has tablebases maybe and Don could call it 'nTCEC Rex' or 'Tablebase Rex' or more simply 'Rex'.
Didn't Don and Larry release a "Rex" years ago?

Steve Schwartz is retired and chess computers and software are no longer the profit center they once were for Your Move Chess and Games.

So we're lucky to still have a forum at all.

first of all, I don't believe you are poor. second I don't want 3200 elo offered to the poor. If someone is unemployed or is on disability, I don't want that person dragging down my hobby because of his misfortune. He should take up a free hobby, like checkers or otb chess, I want computer chess to...
