No that is total cpu load.
If I isolate just the gui I get 4-8%, occasional spikes to 11% with tournament window open and 1-6% with human window open.

I also get 1-3% with cli.

If you don't actually need to watch the games live, there's a way to drop Cute Chess GUI's CPU usage to the cutechess-cli level: make sure there's a non-tournament game open where nothing is happening (eg. the default Human-Human game that Cute Chess opens initially) and switch to that game's tab. ...

Well, then I don't understand why you are making such a fuss. I merely pointed out that the 'weight' of the GUI wouldn't affect the tourney result, and thus could't be measured by it. Especially not if you leave one core for exclusive use by the GUI, so that it could consume CPU like mad and the en...
