It's maybe a little different. You have installed Gui on 64-bit system. Which engine to run 64-bit system. Engine 64 bit or 32 bit.
Seriously? You are comparing apples to oranges.

Re: To Mark Lefler

Hi Mark! I cannot find "contempt" in the configuration of my copy of Komodo 9.02 recently upgraded from 9.01. Thanks in advance for your help! Marco I think there is some confusion, Komodo 9.02 only has "drawscore". It is Komodo 9.2 that has "contempt". http://talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=57...

Re: 7 men Rook endgames H4 vs SF in recent TCEC stage 1b.

It would be interesting if someone with good hardware could analyze the position before 84. Kb2 with Houdini and 5 men Nalimov and then with syzygy also 5 men and see if Houdini can find Kd1 or Kd2. Anybody knows why Houdini is using nalimov instead of syzygy in TCEC? A question I asked myself on t...

Re: Using Komodo 9.1 with Maximum Hash, 64GB machine

Hi Mark, I am only attempting to set hash this high for infinite analysis. I was aware of the document on setting hash for specific time controls, but this is the first I knew that hash requires contiguous memory. I thought only large pages needed that (??)

Re: Using Komodo 9.1 with Maximum Hash, 64GB machine

Komodo 9.1 uses 25% less actual memory than the hash setting (for example, 32GB uses only about 24GB of physical RAM). So, 64GB hash setting should use about 48GB of actual RAM, I would expect. Plenty left over on a 64GB machine. Yet when I try to use 64GB, Komodo reports an error that my system do...

Re: Komodo 9.1 Release

Does anyone else see hash size for Komodo 9.1 being 1-2GB smaller when looking at what is actually being reported with task manager? With 4GB hash, I see 3GB reported as used. With 8GB hash, I see 6GB reported as used. (I did not try other sizes yet) Komodo 9.1 Win7 64 bit That is normal. I redesig...

Re: Komodo 9.1 Release

WOW! I just recently purchased Komodo 9.01. This is a very fast improvement, but it also seems like a slap if the face of those of did not pay the one year subscription. It seems like a very clever way to make people feel like they should have purchased the one year option. As a long time customer,...
