Re: Why should we put source code on github?

Another option is to install Dropbox and create your central repo in a synced folder with "git init --bare". No need in a git server at all, just work with a filesystem repo. As a bonus your get incredibly fast pull and push operations on a local machine.

GreKo 2018.12

http://greko.su/greko-2018.12.zip

(chg) * More compact hashtable struct, use 16 bytes per entry now.
(chg) * Max hash size in UCI options increased to 4096 Mb.

Re: std::cout or printf

Than you'd immediately stop using printf, because it's also a part or the C++ standard liblary, defined in header <cstdio>. You got it wrong, printf belongs to C runtime of course. cstdio is shitty wrapper which typically includes stdio.h internally, no magic here except it injects these C function...

Re: std::cout or printf

I wonder what do you use and if there is an advantage of std::cout The main advantage that I see for printf is that it is more convenient to use it but when I search I find that people claim that std::cout is more safe I try to avoid the std-library as much as possible, C++ has a lot of nice featur...

Re: Linux engines: rating list

Thank you, very interesting table! I can't remember when GreKo started to build and run under Linux. Also I like to see ratings of earlier versions, because CCRL tests only since version 5.0 or later.

Re: Linux engines: rating list

You can update GreKo to version 2018.07. It is a bit (100-150 Elo points) stronger than 2016.
