Re: Buy Rybka 2 series or not?

I have Rybka 1.2f, HIARCS 11, Shredder 9, Fritz 9 and several of the free download engines, such as Fruit 2.3.1 and Naum 2.0. - Isn`t this enough? Is it worth while to get the Rybka series 2 engines, while I will have the single processors? If I would get a really significant improvement, I could s...

Training with engines

I`d like to find some nominees... any help? Otherwise, do you think that it is a good test? Are there any rating ...

Re: Best Chess Engine (other than rybka & zappa) ?

I do this very often (analyse opening moves) with many engines. Re: Linux and xboard

Try using Arena under Linux.
Just install Wine. Arena runs from your HD`s FAT or NTFS partition. The only difference is that you`ll have to assign the path to your engines again, but that`s quite easy, just a few clicks under Arena GUI.
It`s also _much_ easier to run eng-eng matches!
