Looks like SF 12 has almost caught LC0 by 5 seconds.
How does SF NPS (1.2 million) vs Lc0 NPS (15.000) compare ?

Re: RubiChess NNUE player implemented

Minic is a different story, I can run it with or without the NNUE file, the result remains the same. Probably the NNUEFile is not read, because of bad path. You can check that easily looking at speed. NNUE version shall be slower. If you're on Windows I guess there is some question about how to wri...

Re: RubiChess NNUE player implemented

Makes me wonder what a (depth=1) similarity test will reveal. A perfect acid test for your similarity test. Yes, I can understand the frustration of Andrew and Andreas. You have a number of my Toga and ICE based nets available to you. You can run them on a number of different NNUE supporting engine...

Re: RubiChess NNUE player implemented

Hi. Like some others (SF, Minic, Igel, Orion, ???) RubiChess now also supports "playing NNUE weight files". If anyone is interested, just checkout https://github.com/Matthies/RubiChess I won't upload binaries so you have to compile yourself. I'm using this "playing NNUE weight files" wording intent...

OKE - one year after

June 2019 OKE is a research project how well nowadays (mostly top) chess engines play the early opening, the first 6 moves in particular. Since the arrival of the first serious rating list in 1979 -- the SSDF -- engines competed with opening books allowed, later in 2006 when CEGT and CCRL took over...

Re: Engine Crash Detective Story

Remembers me on a bug I had in the 90's which took me about 6 months to find. In those days there was only auto232 and sometimes an engine engine match went rough. The reason, the clock. When it passed 23:59:59 to the new day it started to do strange things, forgot what. Was an easy fix. Called it t...
