Re: New engine releases 2020

Great. I tried the previously released compile by Daniel too that way and it also runs here in compatibility mode. It's strange to be forced to enable Win7 compatibility mode on Win7. (even more, as this was the day Win7 support officially ended) :) I will remove my compilations. Because Win7 suppo...

Re: New engine releases 2020

Sorry to hear this, I guess no compile works for you then, neither mine, nor Daniels release? It seems strange though, as my Q8200 and your T6600 seem both Core2 and therefore SSE4.1? I have also Win7 here (Ultimate). I am using Windows 7 Home Premium. I did get it working now, by using Windows 7 c...

It would be nice also, if you report your hardware and its nps for depthX from start position from commandline. (just type uci / ucinewgame / go depth X in console as in my example a f...

Re: Cstal DOS

I am not so sure if Chris w. Is a big help in this. He mainly sold his company oxford softworks and also chess system tal together with all sources to another company and now lives in another country. He was not very constructive when it came about chess system tal in this forum. I didn't know that...

Re: Cstal DOS

Aren't you posting a link to software that is a commercial product , it is not freeware or open source. Just because it is on an abandonware site does not make it legal to share. I do not believe Talkchess supports the sharing of commercial products for free. You should consider removing the link y...

Re: A question to CCRL

Hi Guenther,

I have sent you the old versions of Rhetoric.

I am missing version 1.3, which was only released for Android, so if anyone can send me that version (tmokonen at yahoo.com), it would be most appreciated.
