Re: Fun fact: SF NN net beats syzygy files easily!

Interesting test and info! However, I am a bit doubtful. On one hand Syzygy 5 men may not contribute much, only 2 Elo as the Fishtest revealed. Of course, Fishtest tested based on the tournament full games, different here, we tested on endgames only but the one having Syzygy did have many benefits a...

Re: Banksia GUI released

I have noticed that in some cases , a mate score is not being shown correctly. ... Thanks a lot for the report. I have been working on that issue! I expected "c:/syzygy" to work for syzygy egtb, but this works instead "/c/syzygy" --I guess c:\syzygy will work as well, but I didn't test. Bluefish XI...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Thank you for taking the time to respond to all of my questions - very, very good. One more question :) , any quick way to copy the entire analysis Window with all of the PVs showing in the panes - (tried control a, control c, but that does appear to work) . Just control-C, BSG will copy to clipboa...

Re: Banksia GUI released

In my Honey engines... When using your engine with the latest BSG I have seen an interesting issue: BSG auto offers to download the network for your engine as below image. It auto popups the dialog as well as showing the special button in EvalFile option to pop up that dialog too. BSG has been test...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Thanks a lot for the report and suggestions! Another suggestion, Beautify the output ,transferring it from "long algebraic" to algebraic ,i.e., "g1f3" becomes "Nf3 "e2e4" becomes "e4." etc. best to do in th GUI so as not harm the engine when done in the engine exe. Winboard/xboard and the Chessbase ...

Re: Banksia GUI released

Great stuff with your latest updates! In my Honey engines, I have ShowWDl option - but it's not readily apparent how I display that info: This is with soon to be release Black-Diamond-Xr5 (right click and select open in new window to display a readable version) https://i.ibb.co/MZqrjrj/Capture-WLD....

Thanks all for your patience. I have managed to reproduce the issue on a Linux system, fixed the bug, and uploaded new binaries (0.36b). Please download and help me to test them.
Yep, this new version is working again - many thanks!
Phew, thanks :D

Re: Version 0.36 beta released

If anyone faces the same problem, please use the previous version 0.35 as the temporary solution. Well, don't worry - let's wait if anyone else reports the same problem, or if it only happens on my computer (although this would be very unlikely). If anyone faces the same problem, please use the pre...
