Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

And Rybka didn't compete at the same time with Fruit (5). It did however play 2x against Gridchess/Cluster Toga which did have Fabien's permission to be there. Ok thanks. Which tournaments where that? Before or after the "I took many things"-statement of VR? With a GPL you don't need additional aut...

Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

http://talkchess.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=32713&start=36 You smeared 1/4 of the CCT entrants for no other reason than your gut. That is not a lie. By the way, nothing came out of that empty statement. Confirmed. Please "name the CCT entrants that were smeared". SPECIFICALLY. Program names or autho...

Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

I cannot imagine Ken Thompson, the Bell creator and world renown computer scientist and Unix creator being sucked up into a purposeful lie for example. I'm not excluding the possibility anymore that that might have happened, maybe with the word 'purposeful' removed and 'lie' replaced with 'confusio...

Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

I said he was "disingenuous" because he pretended to know less than he did. Feeding them questions is perfectly OK. Just as our helping David with the answers is perfectly OK. But you notice that WE have been forthcoming and up front about our role in answering the questions? Not ed. That is dising...

Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

We wanted the most qualified people we could find. If the commercial authors were eliminated, the next step would be the amateur authors, I mean we do enter chess tournaments and Rybka could be there, correct? And then after we eliminate the commercial and amateur authors, we have to eliminate ANY ...

Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

You guys were feeding Friedel questions. Absolutely no doubt. The SAME questions, using the same improper words that were posed on RF multiple times. Give it a rest... If that is the case, what is wrong with that? Miguel Did anybody say anything was "wrong" with that??? Just disingenuous... Yes, yo...

Re: Levy's interview on Chessbase about ICGA/rybka

Whether or not Vasik used Fruit codes is unsolved. There are debates for, and there are debates against, so what's to believe. I think it is too easy to say he used Fruit codes and leave it at that, because it is the easiest, more logical thing to do, and hereby condemn him beforehand. Should we re...

Re: Analyzing a one million games database...

**ouch!!** It's painful... I'm running the resulting tree analysis since almost one week. At fixed depth, Baron is taking 5 to 30 secs per position and I could be at about 20% of database. Gosh! I have a machine doing just this 24/7. The good thing is that while waiting you have more than e...

Re: So, which fool deleted my thread about intended legal ac

I find the avatar witty and hilarious. Don't you people have any sense of humor? I did not read any of the rest, though :-) Yes, it is troll message, but at least creative. Do not answer and that will be it. I saw it and chuckled, it was an entertaining read. Very well done and reminiscent of Rolf'...
