Today I found out that sometime during the tournament, Arena reset the configuration of Counter to defaults (which means 16 threads instead of 1). It's not the 1st time that happens to me with arena, but usually I catch it at the beginning of the tournaments, but not this time. It happened recently...

Hi Sergio,

Why did you choose an odd number of engines to promote/demote? Why not 16 or 14? Especially in a Swiss tournament, I don't like BYEs. Other than that, great work as usual.

I see. The bug was when you installed it as UCI, when done as WB there were no problems. Glad to know the author fix it. Thanks for the tournament Carlos. My only doubt/concern is why only 256MB hash? Even for the rapid games is a bit low.

UCI mode plays instantly on Winboard.

WB mode plays normally.
