ChessBase Light 2007 activation problem

I have been using CB light 2007 for several years. Of course I paid for the activation key. Re: ProDeo 1.8 Running under Arena

Hello , I have installed ProDeo as Ed described for Arena. . .as the rebel.uci engine. It is running as a uci engine. It loads and runs fine, it is just that the Hash displayed by Arena says 7Mb.

Re: Looking for chess tactics positions to download and prin

Hello Vincent, thanks for your reply. I found what I wanted at the Ossmitz website. I just wanted to download some tactical puzzles, endgame positions, etc. and print the diagrams in Chessbase for my own study and testing.

Looking for chess tactics positions to download and print ou

I want to start my own epd or pgn collection of tactical puzzles, combinations, etc. where I can download only the positions with which side to move, and without any solutions.
Does anyone have any ideas as to where to look?
Many thanks,
Gerald

Removing duplicate position from a pgn file

Hello, I have a pgn file of games truncated to 10 moves. I want to remove duplicate positions. How is the easiest way to do this? I have Norm Polluck's programs but seem to be stuck. I have used Chess Assistant to save the pgn file as an epd file. Will this work with Norms "Single" EPD command to re...

Re: Installing M-Chess Pro 8 into D-Fend

Thanks Robert for you good advice. I was able to install MCP 8 and D-Fend can open it. But now the programs asks to insert the disc into Drive D (which is E on my computer. . Mchess always did that even on my old DOS pentium computers) , as a copy protection. Do you know how to get D-Fend to recogni...

Installing M-Chess Pro 8 into D-Fend

Hello I have installed a number of my old DOS chess programs into D-Fend successfully, but I'm not sure how to get the install.bat for MCP8 started under D-Fend from the installation CD.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Gerald
