Re: Rueno, Scaramanga and Tinker

Plisk was also running an unreleased version.

I am working on polishing it before releasing it, but it won't happen in the next few days, more like 2-3 weeks.

Vlad.

Re: ACCA - Final Standings

Hi Harun,

They are not actually missing, since they don't exist. Those were forfeited games due to disconnections, and as such, they did not finish.

However I can provide you with Plisk vs Scaramanga unfinished game if you want.

Vlad

Thanks,

Re: Optimization for speed in VS 2008

What I do is the following: perft computation upto 6 depth analyze at 10 sec / position 10 positions in on...

Re: Multi core clock terminology?

As far as I am aware when a CPU is quoted a speed, that is the clock speed for the entire CPU, which means, each core of that CPU will run at the specified speed. Never the clocks are added. >>so if the 1.5 is per core, the permonce of that phone will be incredible... It depends a lot on what CPU/ar...

Re: Question regarding WAC number 2

May I ask what roughly are you looking for in eval to be able to find that so quickly? I am not interested in duplicating your code of course but maybe you can put me in the general correct direction. This position has always given Plisk a lot of trouble. It takes 22 plys and 7minutes (at around 300...

Re: [STS v13.0] - "Pawn Play in the Center"

At 10sec / move, Plisk 0.2.7 (which is not out yet, I am preparing a release soon) found 64/100 with a total score of 726/1000.

EDIT: forgot to mention 1 thread, 32bit on a (old, the very bad one) Pentium 4 @ 2Ghz, Linux.

Re: 2010 Fifth Annual ACCA Pan Am Computer Chess Championshi

Hi Charles,

The website still mentions Sat Nov 14 and Sun Nov 15, which is wrong because 15 is a Monday actually not a Sunday.

Re: Standings after Round 12 of 44

Hi,

I am actually pleasantly surprised with Plisk's performance. I thought jumping up 2 divisions would mean it would be last and be demoted. But it looks like it has a slim chance of promotion actually!

I am still working on it, and I already have some improvements.

Vlad.
