Re: Some large Polyglot books available

My only issue with Polyglot is there is no learning function for books. I have found many times that engines which use Polyglot as the adapter lose the same games over and over again due to lack of learning. So for the time being, I think I will have to try making my books in Arena or something els...

Re: Maybe Miky .......................

I don't think this 'QN' can be QueeNy (although I posted that as QN.exe), because QueeNy is WinBoard, not UCI... Hi Mr.H.G.Muller ! Take a look - please - to this image from Miky's masterpiece: http://i1238.photobucket.com/albums/ff487/Silvian3/Clipboard02-1.jpg ??? SilvianR It is really QueeNy 0.1...

Re: Team or Individual Elections - **** Vote in CTF ****

We really do need to hear from more members on this issue. Thanks, -Sam- Bump... BTW I believe it is very wrong to have the poll in the CTF 'trash' forum. For myself I can say I never log in anymore automatically to CCC for several reasons, one of them is I don't even want to see one jota of those ...

Re: Arena tournanment file analyzer?

Why would anyone do this on log files? It seems more logical to do it on the PGN. That is meant forsaving the game. I never save log files, they contain tons of redundant info. That's easy. At the time the tool was developed, WB wasn't able to write any info into PGN files. Thus reading it from deb...

Well, if Uri is right(I haven't looked yet at the Stockfish code) it has nothing
to do with Arena, but is a Stockfish 'feature'.

Re: Houdini 1.5 v Rybka 4 at long time control

Hi Guenther.                The GUI reports the standings: W - D - L.  If I want to show this as a win for Rybka I will have to adjust that total every time because the GUI will still be counting it as a draw.  This, which comes from the program...        Houdini_1.5   73.0   + 37 = 72 - 7    Ry...
