Hiarcs 13.1 MP UCI

Hello chessfriends
I have always liked Hiarcs but version 12 does not seem much stronger than version 11.2 so I am wondering about playing strength of Hiarcs 13.1 at longer time controls since I use my engines merely in the analysis mode. Any experience about this question?
Kind regards
Kurt

Re: is rybka worth the money

i feel people have been taken by vas, he must have spent little time on improveing rybka 3 maybe worse than r 3 steve or seemychess According to Ingo Bauer's list, Deep Rybka 4 has a very small difference of 6 ELO point more to Rybka 3 mp, see the following URL http://www.inwoba.de/bayeselo.html Kurt

STS Chess Test

I have downloaded this test somewhere and am wondering that most of the positions tested so far (Undermine) are very easy to solve for todays programs. Hence, I am asking myself if this test may still be worth to prove something.

Re: M Ansari, Uri, Kurt

You will not get my best effort as a programmer for Rybka 4, my best effort will be saved for the rental version. I will dummy down Rybka 4 and then charge you $139 for a crippled non rental version. Also just for your information I also will lie about the kns readout on your newly purchased Rybka ...

Re: Rybka 3 stronger than Rybka 4 CCRL

This is not Rybka4 This is only Rybka4 beta. You cannot get conclusions from it about rybka4. There is no known limit for the possible difference in playing strength between Rybka4 beta and Rybka4. Uri Hi Uri I fully agree and do not doubt that the final version of Rybka 4 will be stronger than Ryb...

Re: This is why I love Junior

Hi Robert
Deep Junior 11.1a has indeed played some interesting games. In almost every game Junior was a pawn down with some compensation. But at the end it was almost always Junior to get the win.
