Komodo sees this as very close about 0.05 advantage for white. Other programs may see a big advantage for white, I don't really know. When you say, "playable" I think you mean that a human would be happy playing this against another human? Or that it's easy to draw? The primary thing I'm trying to ...

Re: Cooking The Opening Book with Stockfish

Komodo sees the position as very close to even now. 21. Qh4 Kc7 22. Qf4+ Kd8 23. Bxd5 23. Nd5 Bxd5 24. Qg5 [d] rn1k3r/3n3p/p5p1/1B1b2Q1/8/8/PPP3PP/2K5 b - - 0 11 As I said above We could arrive at a position with a queen and 4 pawns against rook, 2 knights and 2 pawns, the question is this position...

Re: Cooking The Opening Book with Stockfish

Komodo is quite happy, believing that Nd5 is not a good move. I'm not sure either color has enough to win, but this is certainly very unblanced which means a program can mis-evaluate it easily. Wow sorry I had the wrong position on my board(as you could see from the diagram I posted). Qh4 was the m...

Well you are like 5 years late In the World Championship in Mexico these 2 players were asked their opinions about computers and both stated computers are too strong, human against machine is not feasible anymore.

Topalov's blunder was 25...Qxf7. Second game in this tournament he has given the queen without being forced.

Re: Cooking The Opening Book with Stockfish

Ok, I think that is the best move anyway. My response is Be7. Position after 14. Re1 Qd6 15. Bb5 Be7 Again 16. Nxe6 looks strong. I think We enter a forced sequence in which white ends with Queen and 4 pawns against Rook + 2 knights and 2 or 3 pawns, I am using Critter 0.9 which evaluates the final...

Anyway, I think I need someone else to take the white side of that position. Who wants to try to make a win for white?
You said 14. Re1 Qd6 right? What about 15. Bxb5 now?
