Re: "New" chess engine: Sabrina

Thorsten, as a german, you know that "Deo" means "De-odorant" in Germany. I am not pro Deo as I don't use them. The chess engine is fine, though. Never heard of "Opus Dei" as a chess engine. As a Protestant, I steer clear of the secretive group. And this kind of paradoxical discussions are another ...

Re: "New" chess engine: Sabrina

I am not pro Deo as I don't use them. The chess engine is fine, though. Never heard of "Opus Dei" as a chess engine...

Re: ChessGUI question

If I'm wanting to run ChessGUI under F drive instead of C drive, is there a quick way to change all of my engine path names from C to F? In addition to Ray's reply, this tool will update WB config files. http://www.chess.hylogic.de/chess/WB_Ini_Upd.zip It updates a given string in all subfolders of...

I have just added the handling of the "pm" and "c0" tags.

The STS Testsuite uses the "c0" tag to score moves.

Re: FEN - Flipper for Windows

... BTW I am converting around 1.3 million positions (71 mb file) and it took now 35 minutes and is still running... The epd format is just like this: r3rk2/p1p2ppp/b2b4/2P5/2PB2n1/P2B4/4NPPP/2KR3R b - - c9 "1/2-1/2"; Perhaps this can be optimized in the future. 35+ minutes is really long. If the c...
