Re: Komodo TCEC is doing really well so far against Stockfish

It has certainly helped much that the startup performance problem has been fixed. But also, the intermediate result lets us predict a 12-2 or 12-3 by wins, only. Anyway, one thing is clear: This Komodo cannot be steamrolled!

Re: What would be the best Chess program to learn Chess960 ?

That should be a top-20 engine which has the best understanding for general opening principles. But I do not know which one that is :?: In case of doubt, simply take Stockfish which is the strongest overall, and free. If you need to spend money, consider Shredder Classic 5 or -13.

Re: Who would be the greatest Chess960 Champion ever?

Maybe Bronstein but he never was official World Champion. - But it shouldn't be seen detached from their era each, anyway. Like Carlsen versus Morphy, what do you think? It would even be disrespectful to invite Morphy to such a slaughtering...

Houdini 6 Tactical 1 solves it instantly.
Houdini 5 normal or Komodo 9 solve it also very quickly on my machine.

But simpler than a #9 could (?) be a #8:

Try that with Stockfish
