I've spent more time playing around with Winboard and now I can see that selecting a .pgn file of chess960 positions was not the way to go; instead, as HG Muller suggested, it's best to just let WB choose the starting positions randomly. WHAT DID YOU FOUND OUT? very complicated so far---still working on it. Thanks, but Deep Blue made those moves in an average of 1 to 2 minutes. I thought that today's engines using normal P.C. were much stronger than Deep Blue. PS: Can you imagine if Houdini or Critter 1.6a codes could be programmed...

It seems Deep Blue did not blunder with 44.Kf1 and this move did not play into a drawn position. It was move 45.Ra6 was not best move. So 45.Qd7 was best move. I will play out Houdinis best line from 45.Qd7 I used to have the logs for this game but i cannot find them. score before 45.Ra6 3.16 score...
