Re: An amazing net for SF-NNUE.

There are differences to the Sergio network. Here are some examples (german): https://forum.computerschach.de/cgi-bin/mwf/topic_show.pl?tid=11372 These are a couple positions. On similarity Sim 8300 positions, this net is behaving as a late SV net among SV nets: sim version 3 Key: 1) Lc0 96x8 (time...

Re: Vintage .... Rating List Winboard from June 1999 (16:42)

Hi Larry, and same situation we have in Winboard times. All the winboard engines are not very strong in endgames on AMD K6-2 or AMD K6-3. First program really strong in endgames are Shredder! Stefan Meyer-Kahlen developed Shredder 3.0 for Winboard too (a secret mission). I tested WB Shredder 3 vs. ...

Trained on Reinforcement Learn and fine tuned using CCRL games:

Hmmm, there seem to be chunks of identical hex strings with Sergio nets. Strength-wise, also almost identical to latest Sergio nets.

Re: TRX40 mobos

If you use SMT = DISABLED (I propose it) you can get lower temperature and a more stable system. Of course the temperature will get somewhat lower with SMT disabled, but I don't understand what it has to do with stability, my system is stable as a rock, last time I had it run for 12 days in a row a...

It seems today's net 1209 is the best with 7 +/- 6 Elo points in 8000 games over the past best net. Score of Sergio_1209 vs Sergio_29.07_0109: 1180 - 1073 - 1747 [0.513] 4000 ... Re: cutechess gui build

I am grateful for the work done on CuteChess GUI. Is it possible to have 2 different time controls for each engine in a match? IE Engine A 5' 3" Engine B 4' 2" If it will have separate TC, depth, nodes in games for each engine, I will start using the GUI. I haven't used GUI (I used only CLI version...

Re: New sf+nnue play-only compiles

Just to clarify any confusion in this thread... We're seeing different Elo results presented Those are of course the results of 'nnue' vs sf-dev test, and are very dependent on exactly which nn.bin is being tested In the case of Larry and Mark, this detail is not indicated This has much less to do ...
