Re: Lc0: Kiudee setting is very strong
Hi everyone, are these parameters suitable for my gpu model: gtx 1080 for 5 minute games? and if yes, do you would recommend me a network equally suitable for this type of games? Thank you! Yes, Kiudee will work well. Try this network 59853 2 5a0e0471 3891.00 Link: https://lczero.org/networks/?show...

Re: Komodo 14 released.
We have released Komodo 14 at komodochess.com. It is a significant strength improvement over 13.3, the last release, about 20 elo in MCTS mode and 10 elo in standard mode. Total gains from Komodo 13 (or 13.01) are about 50 elo in MCTS mode and 40 elo in standard mode. The improvements cover a wide ...

Re: Android Test Tournament - Lc0 24.1 (591226) 4CPU
On my laptop (ryzen 7) the results were even better for Lc0 4CPU. I'm a bit surprised. I set ratings of other engines equal to their CCRL Blitz list rating. Time control was 40/2m repeating + 1s/move. I used 100 positions from Albert Silver (the 2010 set). Again, settings for Lc0 were: NNCacheSize ...

Re: New release: rofChade 2.3
Hi, It’s getting harder to make progress in rofChade but it looks like this version is stronger than 2.202 by 30 to 40 elo. rofChade 2.3 can be downloaded from the website : http://rofchade.nl under the tab "Download" and is available for Windows, Linux, Mac and Raspberry Pi. Under the tab “R...

Re: Android Test Tournament - Lc0 24.1 (591226) 4CPU
I've done a little tourney on my phone (4×2.2 GHz Cortex-A73) at 240s/40 + 1s, so that should be comparable to CCRL Blitz list testing conditions. Hash = 64, syzygy 5-men, adjudication at 3 moves in a row at +5 on both sides (Lc0 doesn't score high easily, so that looks safe). The offset was done t...

Re: Ethereal 12 (3400) loses to God! (Most Amazing Game I've Seen)
By this measure, neither the Evergreen game nor the Immortal game is beautiful. The "magnificent" move of the evergreen is a mistake, making a winning position into a draw against proper defense, so I'd say it's overrated. Aesthetics in chess have never been defined by the computer says. Even books...

Re: New engine releases 2020
Combusken 1.1.0 released https://github.com/mhib/combusken/releases/tag/v1.1.0 The most important change in this release is Syzygy tablebases support. Should be ~40-60 ELO stronger than Combusken 1.0.0. This version is not working in my android 10 device (realme 5pro) and the previous version worki...

Re: Booot 6.4 release
Good day! Thanks for testing! Some words about Linux version: this task seems much more difficult then i expected. The good news are: the new version of Delphi IDE already has compiler for Linux, MacOs (and even Android and Ios) platforms. The bad news: Booot has lots of Windows-specific code (WinA...
