Re: Minic version 2

Haven't seen crashes, Minic 2.50 has now played over 250 games and no problems, besides that weird endgame that I just catched up live.

Re: Minic version 2

No nnue was loaded, it was just plain minic. TC was 2 min + 1 sec, 1 thread, ponder on.

Edit: oh, and no TBs either.

Re: Minic version 2

Minic can't mate in a rook and king vs king endgame, at least not in this game vs Winter (which minic had played in a brilliant way!). There's still a lot of room for improvement it seems. Yes, can confirm, version 8.00 had an issue with repeating time control, used too much time at initial moves. I made some adjustments.
I guess it could have affected the ratings...
Interesting! That explains it, then.

Re: CCRL 40/15, 40/2 and FRC lists updated (17th October 2020)

Hey Graham! Thanx for the new entries! From what I see, there seems to be something weird going on with Tucano 8. It's at 2893 for single CPU, and 2990 for 4CPU. In both cases, it's very very similar in strength to version 7, or in the middle of 7 and 7.05/7.07, which are separated by around 20 elo...

Re: New engine releases 2020

-Popcount (no bmi2) -Bmi2/AVX Also there are those who still like to use non-popcount. Sorry if I'm not understanding. Perhaps my question wasn't clear. Your system has BMI2 and AVX (not AVX2)? If you provide me with the name of your CPU + your OS (Linux or Windows?), I should hopefully be able to ...

Re: Koivisto 3.0 (Including binaries)

Nice! I will surely test it in my leagues. Do you have plans to add ponder? I run my games with ponder on and engines without ponder are at a slight disadvantage.
