Why don't Carlsen give 2 pawn handicap against weaker players, IM's ?

Something similar that Kasparov did in the early 2000s

Perhaps Magnus can give pawn + move odds against 2500 rated GMs.

Playing engine games & probing 7-piece syzygy with just barely enough RAM (16 GB in my case) forces windows to terminate cutechess as RAM get filled to 97% very quickly. Swindle or bluffing-mode is one way for the engine to play against the human when giving odds. Playing proper chess in odds matches is likely not the best engine strategy. Playing subpar moves like g4 early in the game put some pressure on the human.

Ajedrecista Downloading 200 GB take about half a day at 5 MB/s and is presumely over in a couple of hours when i'm home from work. I bet the evaluation should rise in blacks favour. When stockfish can consult 7 piece tables. Those tables i'm downloading will tell. If not good enough i download those...

Each year the maximum alloted odds for engines increase as both hardware like cpu & engines get better.
