Re: On-line engine blitz tourney April

Today I saw a video where Botez sisters were playing against Magnus Bot at level 10 years old. Magnus himself was invited as well to give comment on that game. So we might invite Botez sisters and Magnus to participate. O wait Magnus probably tried to sell his Bot. And Botez sisters want to make che...

Re: On-line engine blitz tourney April

By the way is it possible that humans can participate as well ?
I can imagine that some people like to play against some other engines but not take the time to install them on their own computer.
Also any club player has a good chance to win against Skipper.

Playing against your own stupid engine

Sometimes I wonder who plays more stupid: Me or my engine. Bit boring game by the way. But best to make it not too tactical or complicated. Time control two minutes plus two seconds increment. So you have to move quickly. [Event "Computer Chess Game"] [Site "LAPTOP-1FK7MTIP"] [Date "2021.04.08"] [Ro...

Re: Complicating code in C#

Already (many) months ago that Skipper won a game from Fairy-Max. But probably lucky game. Opponent castled long and gave away a rook. Usually Skipper gets a good position (against Fairy-Max) but gives it away in the endgame. But if you are already a rook behind that won't go. [Event "Computer Chess...

More ridiculous opening lines. Lmr = 1 + 1, Null move R = 1 + 3. Futility delta pruning in QSearch 13 4 5854 7642073 e2e4 e7e5 b1c3 b8c6 f2f4 f7f5 f4e5 f5e4 c3e4 c6e5 d1h5 e5g6 h5d1 14 -1 13686 16870168 e2e4 e7e5 b1c3 b8c6 f2f4 f7f5 e4f5 d7d6 f1d3 e5f4 g1e2 g8e7 g2g4 g7g5
