Re: Are Free Antivirus any good for your Computer?

Windows Defender is bundled with Windows now. That is probably all you need. Yes, that is what I rely on. Over the years I've had various free products but at the end of the day Defender is sufficient for me, and is all I've ever used with Windows 10. If I had an older version of Windows then the s...

Re: New engine releases & news 2021

Dumb 1.7 https://github.com/abulmo/Dumb/ Is anyone able to make a Windows compile for this ? The link above only has Linux. Udpate On FRC play :

I ran some more testing and in FRC 2.5 was weaker than 2.4 even with AVX. (Although standard it was still 40+ elo stronger, really shows how specific neural nets can be.)
Thanks, I'll stick to 2.4 for FRC.

Re: SlowChess Blitz Classic 2.0

From what I can tell, the advantage of having huge hardware is to maintain quality of play, while having games that don't take all day.
Totally agree !

Despite the big advantage for SF over LC0, I predict LC0 will leapfrog SF within a year or two due to the new AMD architecture.
Yes interesting times ahead, Lc0 is not out for the count just yet.
